The return of Copenhagen Fashion Week brought plenty of bold street style moments. The city returned to its joyful vibe with great fashion and excitement. And of course, the city’s best-dressed delivered on the street style front, giving us plenty of summer-into-fall outfit inspiration. After 18 months in sweatpants, its only natural that Carlings visited the fashion capital to capture the current and future denim trends.
Scandi style is often characterised by relaxed silhouettes, tailoring, layered looks and of course, comfort. This year, outfits were kept original and fun, with a mix of creativity, prints, playing with oversized fits and channeling a joyous and free energy, the kind we all been missing.
Post lockdown denim trend has given room for a a relaxed new way to wear fashion’s favorite denim. Loose-fitting jeans has been increasing in popularity the past few seasons, and CPHFW was no exception. All of these oversized elements, from jeans to sweaters or shirts, is not just a current trend, but a trend that will remain for 2022. The other spectrum is what all street style stars agrees on: a simple blazer and straight-leg jeans are forever staples. The minimalist’s approach to denim on denim is a street style classic, whether you want to want to go 90´s bold or remain more elegant.
One thing is for sure, denim trends are not going anywhere, and whether you like slim, baggy or loose jeans, they are all key denim trends.
